About the client

Our client is a software engineering and outsourcing company founded in 2017, building web, mobile, AI and automotive software for clients in Japan and the US. Its automotive teams work on embedded, AUTOSAR and Android Automotive projects.

The role

• Analyse software requirements, architecture and interfaces (including safety and security) for testability
• Write test specifications and test cases; keep two-way traceability with requirements
• Choose the right test environment (SIL, HIL) and take part in requirement and test reviews
• Automate test cases with reusable, maintainable scripts
• Run manual and automated tests, analyse results, log defects and write test reports
• Support debugging and the test summary report

The successful applicant

• 2+ years of system or software testing experience
• Embedded C, C and Python; AUTOSAR architecture
• CAN/LIN/UWB/NFC/BLE protocols
• JTAG, CAN flashing and flashing sequences
• Hands-on with ETAS CoSym or Vector vVirtualTarget (or similar), CANoe, ARXML, DBC and debuggers
