Automation System Test Engineer – Automotive

About the client

Our client is a software engineering and outsourcing company founded in 2017, building web, mobile, AI and automotive software for clients in Japan and the US. Its automotive teams work on embedded, AUTOSAR and Android Automotive projects.

The role

• Analyse system requirements and architecture for testability; review verification criteria
• Write system test specifications and test cases with two-way traceability
• Choose the right test environment (SIL, HIL) and take part in reviews
• Automate test cases with reusable scripts
• Run tests, analyse results, report defects and support the test summary report

The successful applicant

• 1+ year of system or software testing experience
• CAN protocol and CAPL are required; LIN/UWB/NFC/BLE an advantage
• ECU flashing sequences
• Hands-on with CANoe, DBC and debuggers
• Preferred: V-model and ASPICE, Python test automation, Vector VT System
